Winkleigh Parish Council meets every 4th Wenesday of the month, with the general exception of August and December. There will be occasions, of course, when they will meet in those months as well as having additional meetings during the year, as necessary.
The public are welcome at all meetings and their attendance encouraged. Meetings commence at 7.30pm and are usually held in the Community Centre or Village Hall. The dates and places are confirmed on the agenda which, along with minutes of the last meeting, are on the Parish notice board and in The Square Winkleigh, posted on the Parish Council website, or details can be found on our facebook page.
Should you wish to submit a particular subject discussed it is important that you inform the Clerk by the third Wednesday of the month.
All relevant details for the Clerk and Councillors can be found on the Parish Council website.
Having completed the Community Led Plan and Village Design Statement with the vital assistance of members of the community, the Council embarked in January 2017 on the development of a Neighbourhood Plan This will sit alongside the Torridge and North Devon Local Plan and it will be a vehicle for planning the future of Winkleigh. More details can be seen on the Parish Council website.
Members of the community are encouraged to participate and will be consulted at every stage and please see more details on the Parish Council website including the progress of the plan or by visiting our facebook page.
